Conservatory Outlet Design Software a ‘Resounding Success’
High-end UK fabricator, Conservatory Outlet Ltd, has seen rapid and continued growth of its new digital window & door design package, with usage up 800% since April.
The innovative software, dubbed Professional Design Service (PDS), was first made available to Conservatory Outlet’s UK-wide network of retailers at the start of lockdown and has seen usage double in each of the months that have followed. September saw the highest figures to date, with the total quote value sitting at a record-breaking £2m.
The unique design package allows customers the freedom to select and design windows & doors in real-time, choosing from a range of options that are in keeping with their own style. Supported by the guidance of industry professionals from across the Conservatory Outlet Network, homeowners can choose from hundreds of colours, styles, designs and performance features. Through its unique visualisation tool, PDS allows sales teams from across the Network to super-impose new windows and doors onto a photograph of the existing property. The tool also offers customers clear and on-the-spot pricing based on the designs they choose, allowing for an honest, transparent price each time.
Originally scheduled to be rolled-out across 2020, the extraordinary circumstances presented by the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated final programming and testing to allow for a fast-tracked launch. Equally as effective in person as it is through video conferencing software, PDS has proved pivotal in allowing Conservatory Outlet Network members to quickly adapt to the ‘new normal’.
