The six-figure investment will grow the company’s industry-leading training academy even further, with over 100 people expected to complete new courses and training sessions by the end of the year.
Conservatory Outlet, the UK’s leading manufacturer of high-quality windows, doors and home extensions, has invested a further £100,000 into its already successful Training Academy.
Launched last year, Conservatory Outlet’s pioneering programme helps equip professionals from across its retail network with a mixture of specialist product knowledge and hard & soft skills to support a wider recruitment and levelling up strategy.
As part of the expansion, further courses have been created to focus on current market trends and conditions.
At the time of writing, over 80 retail sales professionals from within the Network had enrolled in the fully funded courses. In total it is expected that over 100 people from across the UK will enrol on this three-month training programme.
Greg Kane, Chief Executive of Conservatory Outlet, commented: “Our unique retail network model is all about adding value to our customers and our unique Training Academy is a great example of this.
“This year has been one of change. Interest rates have spiralled over the past twelve months, which has had a profound impact on the wider economy. Yet despite this, consumer demand across the Network remains high, with many homeowners still exploring the idea of improving their home.
“The market today is radically different to the market of last year. With this in mind, we have expanded our Training Academy to address the changing financial climate and ensure that salespeople have the tools, knowledge, and resources to work in these conditions.
“It also gives us a great opportunity to further evolve some existing sessions that focus on our core range of products and the enhancements that we’ve made to them in recent months.”
Bon Accord Glass, based in Aberdeen, will be one of the many Premium Retailers to benefit from the expanded Training Academy.
Martin Allan, Director, said: “We’ve been working with Conservatory Outlet for five years now and we continue to be impressed by the team’s commitment to developing our staff and the wider business.
“I’m delighted that Bon Accord Glass will be able to take advantage of these extra training opportunities as they’ll benefit our staff members and ensure that we remain ahead of the competition.”
