Conservatory Outlet Network Director Named GGF President
Mark Austin, Marketing Director at Hazlemere Window Company, has been officially unveiled as the new Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF) President.
Mark’s presidency will see him oversee all functions of the GGF until December 31st 2022, helping the body to achieve a number of key strategic aims across the coming years.
The news follows Mark’s election to the position of GGF Windows & Doors Group Chairman back in 2017, and then subsequent election to the position of GGF Group Vice President a year later.
As part of his existing role as Windows & Doors Group Chairman, Mark works closely with GGF Conservatory Association Chairman, Phil Goult, to manage the key functions of both organisations.
The GGF itself acts as the main representative organisation for companies who work within the glazing industry, including; glass manufacturers, aluminium and uPVC window and door system houses, double glazing manufacturers and installers.
Mark’s esteemed position as President within the GGF is completely voluntary and will sit alongside his role as Marketing Director within Hazlemere.
Greg Kane, CEO of Conservatory Outlet Group, said he was delighted with Mark’s appointment:
“To have a member of the Conservatory Outlet Network assume such a pivotal role within the glazing sector is hugely impressive. Mark has been a key asset to Hazlemere for many years now and has been a key factor in their considerable and continuous growth. I wish him all the best within this exciting new role.”
Mark Austin, President of the GGF, added: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with the GGF for years now and to have the opportunity to assume the presidency is something I’m incredibly proud of. I intend to work closely with Phil to ensure we offer the best possible support to our members, several of which I already work closely with as part of the Conservatory Outlet Network.”
