Network member 5 Star Windows and Conservatories has put pen to paper and signed a multi-year partnership with Kidderminster Harriers.
As part of the agreement, 5 Star will become the sole sponsor of the North Stand at Aggborough Stadium. The official unveiling came as the Harriers welcomed a Manchester United XI to Aggborough. A packed house saw the unveiling of the brand-new 5 Star signage and watched as Kidderminster came from behind to secure a 2-2 draw with the Premier League runners-up.
The home improvement specialists, which has had its Head Office and one of its showrooms in Kidderminster, will feature on the club’s home and away kits this season and will also sponsor star striker Amari Morgan-Smith and work with Kidderminster Harriers in supporting several grassroots initiatives in the local area.
“We are passionate about Kidderminster, so it made perfect sense for us to back the Harriers,” explained Richard Manser, the Managing Director of 5 Star Windows and Conservatories.
“The town has been our home for 20 years and we are continually exploring ways in which we can support the local community, whilst enhancing our profile as the area’s leading home improvement specialist.
“We’re confident that 2021 will be a successful year for both 5 Star and Kidderminster Harriers.”
Kidderminster Harriers’ Chairman, Richard Lane, also lent his support to the commercial and charitable partnership:
“A key part of our strategy is to build partnerships with local businesses who share our passion for the area.
“5 Star fits this profile perfectly and has made a strong commitment by joining us as a main sponsor. What is really exciting are the conversations we are having with Richard and his team; there’s a real desire to explore new commercial initiatives that will help put the town on the map.”
This landmark deal for 5 Star caps off a fantastic six months for the business. In the first half of 2021, 5 Star secured more than £6m of sales and expects to surpass that total thanks in part to the opening of a new showroom in Hall Green, Birmingham.
