Experienced Sales Order Processor

We are looking for an Experienced Sales Order Processor to play a key role in our order processing department. This position involves managing a variety of tasks, including processing quotations and electronic orders with a strong focus on speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. You will be working with our in-house software, Window Designer, to ensure that customer orders are handled efficiently and accurately.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Process orders and quotations from our dealerships, ensuring accurate input into Window Designer.
  • Maintain high-quality service standards to ensure orders are manufactured and delivered on schedule.
  • Respond to customer telephone enquiries, providing excellent support and service.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and dealers.
  • Communicate with dealers via email and phone for order-related assistance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to handle special order components, such as shaped frames or extra parts.
  • Organise the main mailbox, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries and escalating any issues.
  • Ensure order accuracy and work closely with internal departments to meet deadlines.

We are recruiting a Stores Person to support the manufacturing of a quality product to our retail network. You will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained to ensure that our Production team has the correct levels of stock to manufacture all orders. Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 7:00am-15:30pm.

Role Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the maintenance of the stores department, completing the required paperwork, ordering of stock, and putting stock away in the right location bays.
  • To ensure that all stock items are of a quality standard and are in place to meet the production deadline.
  • To ensure each department in the Factory has the correct levels of stock required to manufacture all orders.
  • To ensure the stores department is clean and tidy and products are clearly marked and stored in the right location.
  • To ensure your work is completed in accordance with the required work schedules and be responsible for achieving the daily targets and achieve departmental KPI’s.
  • To support team leaders and supervisors to assist with resolving stock issues as and when required.

Person Attributes

  • Previous experience as a store’s person will be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of manufacturing uPVC windows and doors will be advantageous.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and reliable with excellent organisational skills.

Role Responsibilities

  • To prepare loads in the warehouse or directly onto vehicles ready for the next day delivery.
  • To demonstrate good attention to detail when picking products ensuring the correct products are picked and delivery notes are checked and completed in full.
  • To ensure all vehicles are loaded in a safe, correct, and acceptable manner ensuring all deliveries arrive in a manner which meets our customers’ expectations.
  • To support team leaders and supervisors to assist with resolving production issues as and when required.

  • Previous Warehouse experience is desired.

  • Manage and train yard personnel, ensuring they are skilled in safe product handling and adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Implement and maintain a robust stock control system to prevent shortages. Work closely with the Production Team and the Purchasing Manager to keep stock levels updated.
    • Monitoring the unloading and movement of materials to ensure safe transfer to other areas.
    • Develop, assess, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk assessments.
    • Manage monthly stock takes and ensure accurate reporting.
    • Investigate accidents to identify root causes.
    • Monitor and manage team performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A focused, organised, and disciplined individual with strong experience in yard management. Experience in the window industry is a plus.
  • Proven ability to implement effective processes and manage projects from planning to execution.

  • To ensure that all Tachograph rules and Working Time regulations are adhered to.
  • To ensure fully compliant and conversant with transport legislation.

  • Class 2 driving experience with driver CPC.
  • A full clean driving license would be advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of driving hours, tachographs and working time legislation.
