With a poor-performing roof and thermally inefficient windows, this lovely orangery extension had become a cold and unloved part of the household. However, the homeowners, wanting to revitalise their property, decided to make a change.
The home-owning couple approached one of our Premium Retailers for help. They spoke with a leading designer and set out what they wanted from their space; a true extension of their dining and living area.
With unrivalled thermal performance and the ability to incorporate lots of glazing to draw in natural light, our solid roof system ticked all the boxes. Using our exclusive system, a new covering featuring lightweight slate tiles and custom-made glass panels was designed.
By replacing the roof, the couple could also redesign their interior. They took advantage of this by including an internal pelmet with integrated LED lighting for an ultra-contemporary feel.
Along with the roof replacement, the homeowners also decided to upgrade their existing windows and French Door at the same time. They chose their new frames in a Golden Oak finish to give their orangery a traditional external appearance.
